Municipalities in Washington state require that private stormwater systems are inspected and maintained annually, and that inspection and maintenance records are on file. This requirement has, and continues to become more strict as environmental regulations have tightened.
Generally, we can service a system within 2 to 4 weeks depending on our work load. Emergency service is also available if rapid response is needed.
Ignoring a municipal letter is not advised. Often, municipal fines for being out of compliance for extended periods can be very expensive. Often several hundred dollars a day.
Yes we do.
No. We specialize in managing stormwater systems. This means we service and maintain them and submit all the required reporting information on our clients behalf so we can guarantee compliance with their local municipal requirements. We have found this takes a very focused approach.
You can pay with a credit card or we will send you an invoice.
Sediment builds up in your stormwater system when it is not maintained. This build-up can cause blockages that result in flooding. Other problems can also occur from maintenance neglect such as root infiltration, asphalt damage, problems with the grout in the pipes, overgrown storm ponds, etc.. Having a vendor keep tabs on your system means that issues will be addressed before they become costly to repair, or cause major problems.
The accumulation of too much sediment, root infiltration, and unknown structural damage to a stormwater system are the most common causes of flooding.
99% of the time, it’s not necessary. Most stormwater structures are easily accessible. If you have any access issues, be sure to let us know. Also, if you’d rather do a coordinated inspection, we are able to accommodate that as well.
